On 19th February, 2009, VICOSC announced the initiation of printing trials for the production of organic solar cells. The Victorian Minister for Energy and Resouces Mr Peter Batchelor announced the launch at Securency International where small scale demostrations were presented and the test printing of active materials on Securency's proofing press was shown. The demonstration priniting is the first stage of developing the technology to print organic solar cells on a continuous basis.
